Bear Den Apartment

Bear Den is a spacious three-bedroom apartment at Kumanote Lodge, thoughtfully designed to comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests, with 6 beds and 2 bathrooms. Set right in the heart of the village and directly across from one of Nozawa’s most famous natural hot springs, it offers an exceptional base for both winter and green-season stays, with restaurants, shops, and lift access all within easy walking distance.

The apartment features an open-plan living and dining layout in a modern Japanese style, creating a warm and relaxed space to gather after a day on the mountain.

The apartment is fitted with luxury western-style beds, combining Sealy Posturepedic and France Bed thermo mattresses to ensure deep, restorative sleep, complemented by comfortable bedding and towels. Both bathrooms feature standing showers and are stocked with complimentary organic soap, shampoo, conditioner, and a hairdryer. A modern, fully equipped kitchen includes a full-size refrigerator, electric cooking range, microwave, dishwasher, rice cooker, toaster, sandwich maker, Nespresso machine, and all necessary cooking and dining ware. Additional amenities include individual heating in each bedroom and living areas, complimentary Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV with HDMI and USB ports, Apple TV, and a dedicated heated entry and dry room. A washing machine and high-powered gas dryer are also provided, ideal for mid-stay laundry and keeping travel bags light.
